Abstract

Through the analytical study of the medina of Constantine, we studied the history of places of worship before and after the arrival of the frenche civilisation who worked to erase the identity of Arab-Muslim places. The application of the different approaches allowed us to act on the architectural and urban-plan, for the revival of worship, cultural heritage, its saving and its inclusion in future development. This space is just the result of the urban analysis and the study of different examples concerning the registration of worship places in a cultural context for the development and preserve our heritage The result is the conception of a worship and cultural space for the local population or visitors, while staying in the initial practice of places aiming towards the development of crafts artisans and the actions of safeguarding as a part of the future development.
