Abstract
Dissolution kinetics is an important element for quality control and performance evaluation of
drug products as well as for drug registration and obtaining drug-marketing authorization. The
purpose of this work is the realization of the kinetics of dissolution in deferent operating
conditions of the ER tablets available on the Algerian market.
The biopharmaceutical study made it possible to evaluate the release kinetics of Tegretol and
Carbimol. Comparing the dissolution profiles obtained was completed by calculating the factors
of similarity. The results obtained indicate that there is no similarity in the dissolution kinetics
of the two drugs studied.
