Abstract

the historic architectural landscape of Mzab Valley, the cradle of ancient civilization of ksour emerges a perfect harmony between the built and natural environment and its social structure, this is a region that is not uprooted from his past. Modern architectural design in an area such as Mzab Valley can not be without considering its environmental and social context. So the choice of our experimental work has focused on this illustrative "habitat Mzab" because it is a referent perfect for our theme and a very strong source of inspiration in our approach. The reflection that we propose, is trying to highlight the relevance of traditional architecture and its correspondence in modern architecture, and this also by the development of the heritage consisting Mzab which was built a thousand years before adapting it to the conveniences of modern life today. The main objective is to respect the tradition and integrate it into modernity through technological progress.
